Matt has been seriously itching to get furniture for the back patio so we can do some outdoor living before it turns super cold. We have an awesome backyard, so we're looking forward to spending more time out there. Matt is very particular about what he wants so this furniture decision was all him. He did a good job. We got a couch, some big chairs and table for now. Next spring I'm sure we'll add the matching dining table and chairs set to the mix too. Let it be noted that on my particular backyard furniture list are plug-in heaters though...
While there, Camryn was all about the shopping as well. She was quite the "help". And for the record, it was quite chilly outside. No coats, and no socks or shoes on this girl. The lack of coats was Momma's fault. I take no responsibility for the missing shoes and socks though. This bugaboo Houdini's herself out of socks no matter how good and tight we think we've got them on her. Her teachers have told me that after about the 3rd time of her ripping them off and tossing them across the room they quit trying to put them back on her. And the socks from last night literally are missing by the way. Maybe Restoration Hardware has a lost and found?
After she was done browsing, she started her own dance party in one of the chairs. This is one of those moments I should've got on video. I'm sure there will be more dance party moments to capture in the near future.
As mentioned on facebook, this Friday morning--like last Friday morning--started out at the Pediatrician's. Cole came home from school yesterday with a fever that continues still today. Last Friday the result was an ear infection for Camryn. Today the outcome is just a red, sore throat and a bad cold for Cole. Poor babies, Day Care is doing a number on us!We're looking forward to a fun weekend. Mimi comes tonight and we absolutely can't wait! One thing I can wait a little longer for is cold weather. It was a chilly start this morning and the forecast shows an even colder day tomorrow. Mimi can get a big cool down before she goes back to 90 degree Texas the next week...
