The twins' 1st Christmas was really special. Having their ornaments on our tree and seeing their stockings hung gave me feelings I just can't describe. Not that I wish for them to grow up too quick, but this year's Christmas made me even more excited for the Holidays in the years to come when they'll understand it all and really be excited with everything this season brings. Since they don't get it yet, Matt and I went shopping separately for them so he and I were at least surprised and got joy in opening their gifts. That was fun! Especially since this year they both fell into a deep sleep again as soon as we started opening presents. We can't wait for next year and especially the years to come with them so we can really go overboard and have so much fun with Christmas.
Keeping with the tradition here, we went to my Mom's (Mimi) house to have Christmas Eve and open up our Christmas jammies. Then we also had Christmas Eve with my Dad and Jackie and everyone there too.

Matt was hilarious this year. He wanted to keep everything super secret so he would like break his back (almost literally) trying to keep things hidden from me. He's like a little kid at Christmas, it cracks me up. Turns out he was keeping all his presents for us up in the attic??? He even kept his "display" he got for himself up in the attic. As you'll see, it was a big car carrier--no wonder his back is still achy. Speaking of "display", we compromised on that. Ever since I have a memory, we would run out Christmas morning to our "display"-our big gift-in front of the tree that Santa brought for us. You know, because that's what Santa brought off his sleigh to leave for us...! Then we have wrapped gifts under the tree from our family and friends. Matt is used to every gift being wrapped--which kind of confuses me, because how did Santa get our exact same wrapping paper and have our exact same handwriting? Anyway, I set out my "display" I got for the babies and he wrapped his stuff. Except the car carrier.Look at all 3 of our babies playing with their Christmas presents that morning
I very much loved my Christmas present. It's the reason I'm able to blog now!

Cam is exhausted from all her presents!
So are Cole and I
A good picture with their "Pampa"
