Last week the weather was SO BEAUTIFUL! We spent most everyday outside. I'm realizing how incredibly fortunate we are to have a house that came with a most amazing swing/play set in the backyard. Parts of it are still too big for my 1 1/2 year-olds, but what we can use of it is so much fun. We also still enjoy eating lunch at our kid's table outside too. We're bringing more toys out--but they're usually most interested in just running around or picking out and bringing me the biggest rocks they can carry. In the meantime, we've now accumulated 2 toddler swings (which Matt needs to install asap!!) and another sturdy kid's table to play with outside. Wonder what else the Easter Bunny will bring??
Mario loves all the outside time too. This sweet puppy dog loves nothing more than playing ball. He would play ball until he collapsed if we let him. Here I'm forcing him to take a quick break so he can catch his breath and quit sounding like a snorting pig desperate to breathe. The babies are getting into throwing the ball for him more too, so at times he's catching both the ball I throw and another ball that Cole or Cam is throwing for him. He has an absolute blast! And luckily, he's avoided wooden posts, etc. keeping us away from the vet due to any further ball-playing injuries.
Playing around in the yard, picking grass...and weeds...
Our school buses from Aunt Anne are finally being put to better use...as "lawn mowers" outside. They both will push their buses all around our yard as they pretend to mow the lawn! ??
Sweet Coley loves to swing. He doesn't like it when he has to share it and let his sister have a turn. Luckily I found some different toddler swings we need to hook on this weekend (second reference to how we need them up and running!). They are both the exact same, so hopefully no more fighting over one swing anymore!
Camryn Summer having fun in the sunshine--she and Cole both love to just run around squealing sometimes!
Last Thursday was "orange day" at school. (We're not really mentioning to Matt that it might've been in honor of the Broncos!) We got all orange-d up and they had yet another great day at school. Already one of those Moms, I was trying to get them to pose before we headed out--not happening...
Saturday we got to go to Cooper's soccer game. The babies liked being in that fun, kid atmosphere.
We had a great, fun weekend with everyone in Ft. Collins. Saturday's Jayhawk basketball game was AMAZING!!!! It was crazy how worn out we all were once it was over. What a great team this year. My own body needs rest and healing from the stress of all the miraculous games this season!
