Matt and the guys had a blast, as usual, at the Final Four this year. It was, of course, way more fun and special since KU was a part of it!
Later that night for the game, this is how we cheered on the Jayhawks at home...Cole was one of two ways--either jumping up and down clapping with me--or seriously giving his full-on attention to the game.
This is how Camryn prefers to watch the games. I like her idea of being distracted with a book during these stressful games. Midway through the 1st half we went on up for baths. All these games have been so late, the babies haven't seen much beyond the 1st half of any of them. I was glad to have the distraction of baths and bedtimes Monday night for sure. Once they were settled, I settled myself (with a book!) and chose to stay sane and healthy rather than devote myself to a heart breaker in the end.
Meanwhile, this is how the guys cheer our Jayhawks on...! I was informed that Robby is proudly cheering, holding up his bag of hot nuts here.
Overnight Monday and most of the next day it snowed. Heading out for MOPS Tuesday morning we were greeted with cold and snow...in April. ???
When we were in Ft. Collins, the babies very happily ate yogurt with Jennifer. They let her (and even me sometimes) feed them spoonfuls of yogurt. They are NEVER interested in yogurt here at home. Feeling freshly inspired I got us some of our own yogurt to have here at the house--but as I kind of expected, the babies wanted nothing to do with me feeding it to them. I scooped some on their plates and believe it or not, they actually ate some on their own.

Cole was much more civilized with his yogurt. I'd say he did a pretty good job eating it on his own. Only a tiny bit got in his hair, at least. They both got dunked under the big kitchen sink faucet after dinner that night...
Right around bedtime, it was time to go pick up Matt from the airport. We got our jammies on and waited for him to arrive...We're very happy he had a fun time and is back home now!
We'll end this post with a picture of one of our favorite things to do. Nothing beats a good reading time!
At school they tell me that Camryn loves to read. There was a time recently at school when she woke up from her nap before Cole (which always happens), went over and grabbed a book, then went and sat with Cole on his cot while he still slept and began reading out loud to him. She'd break up her reading to say "Cole, Coley...!" to try to wake him up, and then keep on reading. Their teachers at MOPS tell me how much Camryn loves to read too. How she'll constantly bring them books, settle herself in their laps, and want them to read to her.
