We had a great, long Easter weekend time here. Matt had off Friday and we took advantage of the nice weather and a long weekend.
Friday we took Daddy to the Zoo with us! The giraffes, bears, penguins, and of course the geese wandering around, were all our favorites this time. That's when we're talking about the animals we liked best...

Ice Cream was probably one of our most favorite things at the zoo that day--Ice Cream usually trumps anything else involved.

Cole decided he should start blowing kisses to the giraffes too...
The next morning we went to our neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt. This was a lot of fun too. Cam was excited to get her hunt on again and Cole was excited about all the candy he got from Cam's eggs. Matt was excited to play basketball...
Cole and Daddy :)
Off she goes. We were in the ages 3 and under section. She held her own with the older kids, no doubt.
Cole did some hunting, but mostly he held back working on getting the candy out of each egg he would pick up!
Scouting the next section she wants to take on...
Cole is needing to grab a few more eggs, having run out of candy from the ones he already got.
Handsome Easter boy :)
Congratulating Cam on a hunt well-done...
They waited not-so-patiently for Matt to open up the eggs and get all the candy out.
After the hunt it was time to play!
Slide time with Daddy...
As mentioned before, I fondly call this the "Rockies" version of our River Court. I think of One Tree Hill's dear River Court whenever I look over at our own park's basketball court. Oh Nathan Scott, how I miss you already.Matt and Cole had a lot of fun playing basketball. Camryn joined in sometimes too.
Check out Cole's shooting stance already...

If only he were taller!...
Matt has taught him the whole "bend your knees and shoot" technique quite well already...

While the boys continued to hoop it up, we went back over to swing and slide some more.

We really enjoy eating outside in our backyard lately. The babies and I have frequently been having lunch outside, it's fun to have dinner out there too.

Speaking of things we really enjoy frequently, add On The Border to that list as well!
Easter morning, the bunny most definitely made a delivery to our house. We had stuff from bunnies in Colorado, Texas, and Kansas!
Our Colorado bunny was good to leave some more eggs to hunt in the backyard too.
The babies had so much fun with everything they didn't even get to their morning milks until much later!

Cole was particularly excited about the toothbrushes. And I guess Mario was too?! I wish the babies were more eager to actually brush their teeth when we try to do it.

They were very into their farm...

Out for Easter egg hunting one more time. And also, as mentioned before, Yes--I do realize that my babies are wearing their Christmas jammies on Easter morning...

Leave it to Cole to find a fork in the yard in addition to eggs...???

That afternoon we headed up to Ft. Collins to join The Hendricks and friends for Easter dinner.
Cam and Cole love playing in Maya and Cooper's playroom.

Another Easter family picture with me and Jennifer
We headed over to Susan's house for dinner and pulled the babies along in Maya and Cooper's wagon. The babies absolutely loved everything about that wagon and riding in it--we had a hard time keeping them out of it the rest of the evening! All they wanted to do was ride in the wagon from the first minute they got in it. Needless to say, we've already ordered our own same red wagon-canopy and everything-our's should arrive tomorrow...!
And just to end with a glimpse of what our every day can be like here. Lately, they like to just be in their tummies. It usually starts with Cole tugging and trying desperately to take his shirt off himself (not sure why???). Then once Camryn sees his is off, she can't get her own shirt off fast enough. And that's become acceptable attire around here these days.
