My Little Easter Bunnies

We've been keeping our days full by walking and walking. And walking some more. To say we love our jogging stroller is an understatement. However, it's now too hot in the afternoons to just keep walking. So now we go to the Y or to the mall too. It's just not so fun to hang out at home all the time and it's definitely not ideal to nap at home during the day unless I make them cry it out (which is happening more and more!). The evenings are still manageable weather-wise so we stroll around some more and then hang out in our driveway. Mario stays on the alert, Cole and Cam have their toys and other outside distractions, and I have my Mommy drinks.

When we do hang out inside, we're always active. The laundry basket is too enticing, so we go for rides in it so that they stop knocking it on top of one another.
We started going to church this month. They began in the Bunny room. But Camryn got them kicked out of there more or less! It wasn't anything bad--the workers just nicely told us last week that she's too active for the other babies in that room and she needs to start going to the Dove room---the room for crawlers. Cole started scooting around a bunch this past week so he was good to join his sister in the Dove room for Easter Sunday. Camryn's report was that she played well and made friends with all the other babies in the room. Cole sweetly hung back, watched his sister play, then napped. The babysitters commented on how different their personalities are. They seem to do well in the church nursery and we're excited to continue going to Church and other things there.
Hanging out Easter Weekend...

Tiger so desperately wants their Easter presents
Enjoying what the Easter Bunny brought them

Cam was most excited about the ribbon and the cellophane wrapping. So much so that at one point while shaking cellophane ferociously in each hand, she took a tumble falling backwards.

Finally too tired from his fun Easter Weekend to play anymore

  1. That's so much fun! Victoria was about that age when I had trouble getting her to sleep for afternoon naps. We were living at Peterson AFB at the time in CO and I would time errands so that we were on our way back when it was her nap time. I'd drive around and around! She eventually grew out of it. :-) Your Easter pictures are great! - Kirsten :-)

  3. I am going to miss my two bunnies while I travel to California and Oregon. Will be back in town on the 7th and will call you. We have inspections, etc. and supposed to close on the 18th. I will keep in touch. Give them a kiss from Grandma Dolores.
