About a month ago we got to go to A Day Out With Thomas. It was total Heaven for Cole! Even more exciting, The Owen's came with us. Cole and Cam pretty much worship Audrey and they get along so well playing with Wyatt. Great friends, great weather, Thomas, trains galore--all made for a fantastic weekend.
Again, my pictures seem to have uploaded in an order all on their own, so we're kind of all over the place here...
It was okay waiting for our actual train ride time, we had a lot of fun watching Thomas the Train, himself, chug on by several times before it was our turn.
We tried for a professional picture with Thomas--no surprise Camryn wasn't in the mood to share the camera time with us, or be still for any kind of picture...
On Thomas!! Sweet Cole, it was such a joy watching how happy he was during it all.
After our ride on Thomas there were lots of other things to do. One playing under a big tent full of "choo choo tables"!
It was also fun climbing into a real fire truck...
And of course, we had to pet the animals there. This was the first llama we've ever met. Camryn was particularly excited to pet the llama because she's a fan of the "Llama Llama..." books (thanks to Jackson and Ben Dillon!). I, however, was not excited of the rash she had for the following 24 hours after petting the llama.?? It sprung on her the instant she started petting it. We've petted many other animals at petting zoos, etc. since then and there's been no rash. She must have a llama allergy?...!
Cole looking up in awe at his beloved Percy. Of all the trains--even Thomas--Cole is partial to Thomas's best friend Percy. Over the past month, he's grown to love Thomas a lot more as well as all the other trains. He can identify and name an awful lot of them! But at the end of the day, Thomas is actually a close second to good ol' trusty, green Percy.
