Wow, blogging so quickly again, yay!
Tonight we took our first walk around the block. It was so nice, hopefully it's something we routinely do more often now. The babies promptly fell fast asleep as soon as our double stroller started rolling. Doctor's orders that we can't take the babies out anywhere in public really (Restaurants, Target, Kroger, etc.) until after their 2 month shots (which is at the end of this month). But we do have the go ahead to take little walks outside around our neighborhood and stuff in the meantime. It's nice to all get out of the house for a bit, definitely need to do this as often as possible.
In other news, I believe it's time to filter out and move on from our preemie clothes here. Cole's NB size clothes fit him perfect (he's been out of preemie for over a week now) and Camryn can wear most of her NB size clothes pretty well. We discovered last night that she cannot wear her footed preemie jammies and her preemie onesies are extremely snug in the tummy area--she must've grown length-wise and belly-wise in the past couple days because she was way too crammed in them when we attempted to put them on her last night. This is exciting! We've got TONS of cute clothes starting in the NB size that we're so excited for them to wear and to show them off in.
The rest of our excitement is over the previously mentioned, overnighted baby wrap I ordered. Still kind of like origami to put on--but so worth it that I've figured it out every time so far. I absolutely adore holding my babies, but I'm also so happy that Cole loves his swing and that Cam now loves our new baby wrap.
And now for some more pictures...
When it's just me feeding them, the babies still need their 15-20 minutes of "upright time" after eating. So we all pile into the recliner chair for a bit. And by "all" I mean: Me, Cole, Cam, and Mario. The babies lay up on my chest and Mario lays on my lap with his paws between the two babies. Again, Cesar Milan would have a heart attack. I find it totally precious.
Cole so sweet and peacefully sleeping
Cole so satisfied after a wonderful lunch
Uncle Robby and Camryn both enjoying some great milk!
Dad multitasking with Cole (and with his fantasy football team)
An image often seen around here lately: Peeping Babies
They like to peep around corners and doors at me. I laugh so hard every time! Here's Peeping Camryn...
They got all geared up for the KU football game yesterday. Too bad it didn't bring our team much luck. Here's Cam's cute pink KU socks.
And here's Cole with his KU Football onesie on!
The wonderful Moby Baby Wrap. Here we are modeling the "Newborn Hug" style:
And here we are a la "Newborn Cradle"
So adorable!
