Doggie Art

This is my new friend Katia. She is a middle school student that painted this fantastic picture of Mario. Isn't it great? My friend Amanda hooked me up with a group of students who were doing "Doggie Art" for their summer school art project. All we had to do was submit a picture of our dog and they would creatively paint a picture of it from there. All the paintings were so great. Of course I was blown away by them all since I can hardly even draw a stick figure. The school was actually in a very scary part of town and all the kids were so sweet--and they were painting pictures of our "babies", so I thought the whole thing was incredibly special and was all full of love and emotions. Katia probably sees me as the crazy pregnant girl that I am, but is hugging her 4 times over my love for this picture too much? I think not. I can't wait to frame it and hang this somewhere fun.
