It's an absolutely beautiful day today! The babies, Mario and I all got out and enjoyed our sunny day before the cold and snow hit us tomorrow. The soundtrack to our walk today was Camryn giving us a play-by-play...or something like that of our surroundings and goings-on. The chatter was constant! As briefly mentioned, this girl talks ALL the time now. ("Ball" was of course the first word for both babies.) Cole talks too--just not near as much as Cam, and not any other real distinguishable words yet. Well, I guess I'll consider his "Me, Me, Me!" begging sounds when he wants something as his next "word"! Why would he talk more though?-Camryn does it all and says it all for him! Her favorite words these days include "Momma" (said constantly throughout her days--as she points to me, taps me, barrels over to hug me, etc. It's super sweet), "Dada", "Uck" (duck), "ish" (fish), "seep" (sheep), "buh-bull" (bubbles), "ank yoo" (thank you), "mo" (more--while tapping her hands together), "Mimi" (yes--she very much knows her Mimi!), "buh-nan" or "nana" (banana), "jess" (juice), "cick-kee" (Cookie Monster--and actual cookies, of course), and "Uh-Oh". I'm sure there are others I'm blanking on, and probably will be new words as soon as tomorrow at the rate she's going. Animal sounds are becoming very popular here too. Camryn can make the sounds of an entire farm almost! We're working on getting all the zoo sounds down too. Cole likes to do animal sounds--but he mostly just lets Sister do them for him. Reading is another favorite thing right now--for both of them actually--mostly with Camryn, but more and more with Cole too. They'll pick up one of their hundreds of books, bring it over to their chair or couch, or anywhere really, and just start babbling away as they point at pictures and turn the pages. I hope they continue to have a love for their books and reading.
Meanwhile, we love having Camryn's constant chatter being the soundtrack to our lives right now...
