Let the nesting begin

We finally got the inside of our house re-painted. It's like a new house, we love it. We were so anxious to get out of here and have everything done that we didn't take good "before" pictures, but here are some that are good enough. Also thrown in this mix is a picture of the start of the babies room. We got the furniture last weekend and Matt had everything assembled and up in record time.

For the most part (besides our dining room-which is red, and our bedroom-which is green) every room was yellow or white. So goodbye weird yellow and blinding white, hello warm and nice colors!

And oh yeah...

During the painting week while we were away someone threw a rock through a panel of our front door one night. The less-than-helpful policeman wasn't concerned, wrote it off as property mischief, and said he didn't have time to come inside and investigate anything further. I guess he had to do more important things like hide behind some trees and pull people over for going 5 miles over the speed limit.

New door glass is now at the top of our to-do list...
